A | New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) India is deeply concerned at the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, including at the targeting of infrastructure and deaths of civilians, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.

Responding to media queries on escalation of conflict in Ukraine, the official spokesperson reiterated that escalation of hostilities is in no one’s interest.

"We urge immediate cessation of hostilities and the urgent return to the path of diplomacy and dialogue. India stands ready to support all such efforts aimed at de-escalation," he said.

India has consistently maintained since the beginning of the conflict that the global order is anchored in the principles of the UN Charter, international law and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, Bagchi added.

Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar also held broad ranging discussion on Ukraine conflict and its impact on Indo Pacific region with Australian counterpart Penny Wong.

We have discussed Ukraine and its repercussions in the Indo Pacific region, the minister said addressing a joint press conference with his Australian counterpart after the two leaders held the 13th India-Australia Foreign Ministers' Framework Dialogue in Canberra.

B | 本报讯记者张蜜报道为全力维护夏季道路交通安全形势持续平稳，6月23日、24日，兴城市公安局交通管理大队联合巡特警大队，积极开展夜查酒驾专项行动。　　行动过程中，交警、巡特警联合检查组的民辅警们，依据辖区道路交通违法行为及事故的规律特点，科学合理部署警力，紧紧锁定酒驾醉驾事故多发、易发的路段以及重点区域、路段，采用定点设卡与流动执法相结合的方式，对过往车辆的驾驶员进行严格筛查。重点查处酒驾醉驾、携带违禁品、管制刀具等严重违法行为，坚决做到一经发现，严肃查处，形成严管、严查、严惩的高压态势，全力从源头上遏制涉酒交通事故的发生。　　与此同时，民辅警还向驾驶人积极宣讲酒后驾驶以及携带违禁品、管制刀具的严重危害性和相应的法律后果，温馨提醒驾驶人要文明驾驶、安全出行，不断提高交通安全意识和守法意识。　　此次联合行动，共计查处酒驾醉驾17起，其中醉驾8起；收缴管制刀具2把，综合整治成效显著。
